John Joseph Gotti, Jr., a/k/a John Gotti Jr., a/k/a “Junior,” was born on October 27, 1940. In 1990, he was secretly recorded by the FBI declaring himself the boss of the Gambino crime family.
He was arrested for the last time on December 11, 1990, and was convicted in April 1992 of racketeering and ordering five murders. That June he was sentenced to life in Federal Prison, where he died on June 10, 2002.
