Below is the FBI-302 report documenting the January 18, 2005 proffer meeting where John Gotti Jr., trying to lower his punishment for the racketeering crimes he was charged with, provided information to Federal Prosecutors and the FBI against accused high-ranking Italian organized crime figures — including his father John Gotti Sr. — and their alleged involvement in numerous murders.
John Gotti Jr. also provided information against a retired NYPD Detective who, according to Gotti Jr., took bribes from the Gambino family in the 1980s to shield him from a murder prosecution. According to Gotti Jr., the Detective also provided information about a witness to the alleged murder that assisted the Gambino family in murdering that witness, on John Gotti Sr.’s orders, while staging it to look like a suicide.
